Special Giving Opportunity!

The museum has a rare opportunity to acquire two phenomenal specimens of crystallized native copper from the famous Quincy Mine in Hancock, Michigan. Said to have been brought out of the mine personally by a mine captain, they resided in the Quincy Mine superintendent’s office until the mine closed. The specimens are currently on loan and on display at the museum where they can be enjoyed by visitors. Please to help the museum to be able to purchase these specimens and make the museum their permanent home. More information and a convenient link to give can be found here.
