Exhibits of the Copper Pavilion include the Guinness World Record 19-ton Lake Copper and an adjacent smaller 250-pound mass of Lake Copper both from the bottomlands of Lake Superior.  Touching is not permitted for the 19-ton Lake Copper since over time touching will change the surface but visitors are welcome to touch the smaller mass. Behind the 19-ton Lake Copper there is a small glacially-transported Float Copper.

COPPER PAVILION

While the 19-ton Lake Copper on exhibit in the Copper Pavilion is impressive, single masses of native copper weighing up to 527 tons were found underground such as in the Minesota Mine.
